宁波市科协副主席王文玲致辞

　　女士们先生们朋友们，大家晚上好！

　　大家知道，随着现代科技的发展，特别是信息技术的进步，科普活动从形式到内容都发生了重大的变化，创新科普传播模式，让公众和科学家共同分享科学研究的乐趣，是现代科普工作的方向。中外科普连线活动就是其中一个很好的尝试，它打破了单向传播的传统报告会的模式，以最直观的形式让大家身临医学科研的第一现场，全方位、立体化的让受众感受到科技的魅力。这已经是浙江省科协与美国自由科学中心第19次的连线活动了，也是第4次的手术直播。在此，我谨代表浙江省科学技术协会，对美国新泽西自由科学中心的在线教育团队表示诚挚的感谢，感谢美国圣巴拿巴医学中心盖夫纳博士和手术直播团队，你们以高超的医术和敬业的精神令我们深深敬佩。

　　同时我还要衷心感谢宁波大学医学院周院长，鄞州中学严明俊、王仕杰副校长，还有鄞州二院马苏亚副院长，以及你们的同事们，你们为这次活动提供了各方面的支持和保障，特别是你们热心学生素质教育的责任感，今天晚上在座的大学生朋友、中学生朋友和我们医疗界的各位朋友，或许都因为今天这一场科普活动，而对医学产生兴趣，成为医学家。我们也希望有更多的学校能够参与到这项活动中来。

　　今天播下的一颗科学的种子，或许将来就会成长成一棵参天大树。我还要感谢浙江省人民医院肾脏病科主任何强博士，这是您第二次参加我们的科普活动了，有了你们专家的支持，科普活动才会更有质量和成效。

　　最后感谢今天晚上所有参与活动的同学们、朋友们，感谢本次活动的所有的工作人员和翻译，祝今天的活动取得圆满成功，祝病人尽快康复，谢谢。

　　As we all know that science popularization activity has undergone significant change in both form and content with the development of modern technology and especially with the progress of information technology. The innovation of the communication mode of science popularization, which lets the public and scientists share pleasures of scientific research together, is the development direction of modern science popularization. Chinese and Foreign Scientific Connection activity is a good attempt to break the pattern of traditional symposium with one-way transmission, and it shows us the first scene in medical research in a most visual way and lets the audience appreciate the charm of science and technology. It is the nineteenth Science Connection held by Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology and Liberty Science Center in the United States, and also the fourth operation from a live broadcast. On behalf of Zhejiang Association for Science and technology, I want to express my gratitude to Liberty Science Center in New Jersey and Stuart R.Geffner and his team in the Saint Barnabas Medical Center in the United States, and I deeply admire your superb medical skill and your devotion to the career.

　　I am also grateful to President Zhou in Medical School of Ningbo University, Vice Presidents Yan Mingjun and Wang Shijie in Yinzhou Middle School, Assistant Dean Ma Suya of Yinzhou No.2 Hospital, as well as your colleagues. Thank you for your full support of the activity, especially for your sense of responsibility towards the quality education of students. The science popularization activity today may let all friends here have an interest in medicine, so we hope there will be more schools to participate in this activity in the future.

　　Sow a seed of science today and it will grow into a towering tree in the future. I also want to express my gratitude to Dr. He qiang, the Director of Division of Nephrology of Zhejiang Provincial People’s Hospital, and this is the second time you have taken part in our science activity. With your support, the science popularization activity will be more successful.

　　Finally, I want to express my gratitude to the classmates, the friends, the staff and translators who take part in the activity tonight. I wish the activity every success! I wish the patients a healthy recovery soon. Thank you!
